A Famous Elephant and Ocean Playground!

Margate is a town that welcomes tourists with its Victorian age elephant so beautifully painted and preserved. Lucy, the Margate elephant, may draw tourists to this south Jersey town for a day trip, but many stay for its sandy beaches, restaurants, and variety of vacation rentals from beach houses to condos to apartments to cottages. Vacation rentals are affordable here.
Margate is central to so many of the tourist attractions of South Jersey, that it makes an excellent choice for a Jersey shore rental. Cape May, with its Victorian architecture and four star restaurants is to the south and Wildwood with its boardwalk amusement park is to the north. Atlantic City is also a short drive away.
Vacationers don't need to leave town to have a wonderful stay at the Jersey Shore in Margate. The beach is spectacular and there are restaurants and amusements - as well as an elephant - here in this vacation town.
